Proper Art
I sit in a box
Such a pretty little Sneasel,
Smile on my face
Such a pretty well drawn Sneasel,
Offer me some art
And we’ll see if we can trade
But do not offer writing for that is not proper art!
I’ll happily take paintings,
Sketches or collage,
A sculpture if you so desire
Or even photograph.
But writing is a different thing
I just can’t visualise,
Writing on the wall
It just is not proper art.
Oh
Speed I hold in high regard,
Each step gets faster so.
Do I fear what people say
Because I lost my ear?
I can be rash and make mistakes
Curiosity my fault,
I’ll hide this in my pictures
For this is proper art.
